Dr George Paolinelis

Dr George Paolinelis (BSC, BDS, PHD, MFDS RcsEng, MSurgDent Rcs Eng) is a Consultant Oral Surgeon who owns Cleriden, a leading specialist dentistry practice at 30A Wimpole Street, offering a full range of General Dentistry & Family Care, Prosthodontics & Dental Implants Services.  

George’s alma mater is King’s College London where he studied for his undergraduate and PhD degrees. He is currently a consultant in Oral Surgery at Guy’s Hospital and leads the head and neck cancer post resection rehabilitation service for the NHS trust.  In his academic capacity, at Kings College London, George leads the surgical dental implant teaching for dentists training to become specialists in Periodontology, Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery.

In his early academic years, after undertaking hospital posts in maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry, he completed a PhD in biomaterials science, developing the use of bioactive glass of ultraconservative treatment of dental decay. This research resulted in a commercial product, which is widely used in minimally invasive dentistry today.

He has published, presented and lectured internationally on his research as well as teaching methods and contributed to dental textbooks.
